The Lake Michigan City College Study Hall is a tutoring program that provides assistance to students in math and English.
After school tutoring is provided to keep students involved and engaged in school. The tutors for this program are current college students from similar socioeconomic, cultural, ethnic, and racial backgrounds. These students also serve as mentors and role models.
Through these tutoring and mentoring activities, students experience positive relationships with peers and achievement coaches, and they are engaged in learning activities to help them strive toward high standards and increased educational achievement.
